Our team at OmniBridge is continually inspired by the ways that technology and new media companies are working to bridge communication gaps and create experiences that foster human connection.
We were excited to learn that a group led by Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing team members at Snapchat is employing augmented reality (AR) technology to introduce more people to ASL. The ASL Alphabet Lens provides an interactive way of learning the ASL alphabet and includes games to help users practice fingerspelling. To see the new AR lens in action, check out this video from Snapchat’s YouTube channel.
